3 good salads for Summer
Yesterday, we gave you three excellent drinks for this summer. Today, it is going to be three excellent salads! If you are a salad lover and owns a reasonably advanced kitchen, you’re gonna find this easy to make and yummy to have. Take a look at these tried-and-tested-at-PMT salads and see if any of these are gonna make you hungry.
- Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad
When it comes to Salads, C.C. Salad passes off as an obvious choice for most people. Easy to make, this one can shut off your hunger cry, and with the right ingredients, it is one of the healthiest of all salads.
What you need: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (cut in half lengthwise), half cup Caesar salad dressing, ¼ cup parmesan, one lemon zest juice, two heads of lettuce (chopped), one red/white onion (cut in squares). Oh, wait. Salt! (enough, according to you!)
How: Mix the lemon juice with the Caesar dressing and add the cut chicken breasts to it. Mix well. Grill them in the oven until they turn golden brown. Remove. Take a bowl. Mix the onion, parmesan, lettuce and the rest of the Caesar salad. Place the grilled chicken breasts on it and shake the pan (with the lid on). Add the salt and stir again. Add some oregano if you want it spicier.
- Caprese Tomato Salad
This one is easy to make. It can also be used to impress some uninvited guests (i.e., if you think you should impress any uninvited guests!).
What you need: Mozzarella (cut into small rounds), 2 tbsp virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp salt, Black Pepper (ground), six ripe tomatoes (not too ripe, mind you!), six big basil leaves (Tulsi).
How: Throw Mozzarella, Italian seasoning, Olive Oil and Salt in a bowl and mix gently. Let it marinate while you cut the tomatoes into perfect round shapes. Place the cheese rounds with the tomato and crushed Basil leaves and slide in a toothpick to make sure they stay together. Serve well.

- Chopped Chicken Salad in Honey Mustard
This one is definitely for a Sunday. Because this one is going to give you that feeling of accomplishment. Try on and impress your girl/boyfriend!
What you need: 2 boneless chicken breasts cut in squares, salt, pepper and garlic powder (1 tbsp each), two fresh tomatoes, six chopped lettuce, one red onion cut in small squares, ½ cup crumbled feta cheese, 1 cup Honey Mustard dressing.
How: Season Chicken breasts with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees and place the marinated chicken breasts in a single layer and grill them mildly. Take a large bowl and toss it, lettuce, onion, feta cheese, chicken and the tomatoes. Top with some crushed mint leaves and pour the Honey Mustard on top. Shake with the lid on. Serve with two forks.
